Localgiving has seen a direct correlation between how well charities have been able to respond to Covid-19 and their digital maturity. We have found that the majority of organisations that we work with have shifted to focus on digital as their only channel for individual fundraising. This is due to social distancing measures and an expectation that things will be very different in the future. We have seen a:
- 400% increase in online donations vs. comparative periods in previous years
- 300% increase in the number of small charities joining our platform as they shift to online fundraising
- Significant increase in organisations contacting us around wider digital support, such as the digitalisation of their services
