All groups are validated before they become members of Localgiving; this vetting process ensures that groups meet the security checks that we have in place for both registered charities and unregistered groups.
In a similar way, groups are vetted on an annual basis to ensure that Localgiving works with charities and community groups remain eligible and operate within the validation criteria of Localgiving.
We will contact organisations who are due to be revalidated by email. Organisations that are not registered with the Charity Commission, The OSCR or the Charity Commission Northern Ireland are required to send us a copy of their latest accounts in response to our request.
What do we mean by 'accounts'? We understand that your organisation may not produce audited accounts. If this is the case, please send us your unaudited accounts or a copy of your income and expenditure for the past year. Please note that these do not have to be prepared by an accountant.
